State Policy Priorities

California – FAST Act

The California FAST Recovery Act is unprecedented law that will significantly impact quick service restaurants in the state. It would create an unelected council with broad regulatory authority, creating new layers of regulations for operators throughout the state. The National Restaurant Association is part of the Save Local Restaurants coalition working to allow California votes to have their say about the law.

Washington, DC – Tip Credit

Initiative 82 on the November ballot in D.C. would completely eliminate the tip credit, making D.C. the first jurisdiction in over 20 years to do so.
