State Policy Documents

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Restaurant Association and our state restaurant association partners have advocated at the federal, state, and local levels of government for policies and comprehensive relief packages that will allow restaurants to survive this crisis. Letter from Association to NGA Chair Andrew Cuomo | February 18th, 2021

Vice President of State Affairs at the National Restaurant Association Mike Whatley sent a letter to National Governor Association Chair Andrew Cuomo with recommendations on state government action to the help restaurants through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Third-Party Delivery Principles | December 16th, 2020

The National Restaurant Association released public policy principles on third-party delivery. These Principles, which center around permission and transparency, define best practices for third-party delivery to guide lawmakers in developing public policy and are an important first step in an ongoing dialogue between restaurants and third-party delivery companies.
